My deepest condolences to you and it was so interesting to hear your unusual situation. 1997 was the year I discovered how incredibly important your profession is. My grandmother had suffered her second and third stroke. As I went in to the hospital room to say goodbye, she looked like what I could only describe is a sick little frail bird. She was only 60 lbs and looked absolutely dreadful. I just knew we needed to have a closed casket funeral because she looked nothing like herself at her deathThe day after making arrangements, we went to your funeral home to view her body. I was shocked! My beautiful grandmother laid there and looked as if she was in her health and only sleeping. She looked so healthy and peaceful. I couldn’t understand how you could make her look so good after seeing her on her death bed.. Even her makeup was flawless and not paste looking or overdone to compensate. She literally looked like she looked when she was in her health and just laid down to take a nap....a peaceful nap. That was so healing for me and I was so grateful to be able to see her that way one last time. I to thank the embalmer, plus hair and makeup artist! Thank you to you and those in your profession. What an incredible contribution you make to the healing process of grief. Thank you for also sharing your personal experience with us.

Congrats on your eighty something years of dedicated service to your community. That really says a lot to your committment at helping people.

You have been God sent to me and I will never forget your help and caring nature. Taking care of mom after death is so hard. You have made it so much easier. May God bless you always!!

It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since I became acquainted with the Johnson family.Years ago my mother passed away in Anderson SC and had to be taken home to Florida.I just had to make one phone call and everything was taken care of.I can't express to you in words what an amazing gift your family gave me by the care and respect shown in the care of my mother.I want to thank Mrs Sippie and your father for their support and compassion in my time of loss.A special thanks to you Luther III for the care and respect you took in preparing my mom for her journey home.You did an amazing job.Thank you Betty Eanes

We are so more than completely satisfied that each time we have faced a loss in our family both local and twice at a distance away, one phone call was all it took and they were very professional at handling everything. One of our family members died at a residence 125 miles from their location and to our amazement, a hearse backed up to the residence in about 20 minutes to pick up the body. Our loved ones who had been sick for some time and loss weight, they made them look like they did 5 years before they got sick. This firm is highly reccommended by our family.
