Catherine "Cat" (Kirksey) Fields

Mrs. Catherine "Cat" Kirksey Fields,64 of 317 Liberty Drive, Pickens, SC, transitioned on Monday afternoon, December 13, 2021, from her earthly home to her heavenly home not made by hand.  
Born in Pickens county,  she was the daughter of the late Henry Kirksey, and Mattie Ruth Wright.  She was formerly employed with Easley Baptist Hospital.
"Cat" as she was affectionately known, was a lifelong and faithful member of Cold Spring Baptist Church, Pickens where she sang on the  Choir and was also a member of the Pickens County Mass Choir.
Survivors include one son, Tony Kirksey; two brothers, Bobby Joe Kirksey and Benny Cash; two sisters, Ruth Ann Griffin and Carol Owens and a host of other relatives and friends.

We ask that friends of "Cat" and of her family may sign their name, write the family an encouraging note to let them know you are thinking about them, light a free memory candle in her remembrance, and purchase flowers as a source of comfort to the family on the tribute tab of her memorial page at lutherjohnsonfh.com

The family has selected the Professional Staff of  The Luther Johnson Funeral Home, serving families in its 86th year.
