Edna Lucille Pendergrass

Mrs. Edna Lucille Simpson Pendergrass, affectionately known as "Sugie", transitioned from her earthly home at 104 N. 5th Street, Easley, SC  to her heavenly home on Monday, September, 21, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Sara Lay Simpson. Survivors include her daughter of the home, Jennifer McDowell, a brother, Robert Simpson, and her sisters, Ginevie Thompson, Patricia Cason, Florence Rosemond,  grandson, Issac Simpson and one greatgrandson.  Funeral services will be Saturday, 3 PM in the afternoon at the New Hope Baptist Church, Liberty, SC She will be placed in state at the church at 2 PM. Her remains will be interred at eternal rest in Westview Cemetery. The funeral cortege will depart from her home at 2:20 PM, promptly. The family has selected, The Luther Johnson Funeral Home
