Elliot Douglas Rice, Sr.

Douglas Rice, 64  of 603 West 5th Ave. Easley , died July 3, 2015 at Rainey House Hospice of Upstate, Anderson, SC.  He was a member of St. Peter Baptist Church, Seneca, SC and retired from Walmart.

Born in Pickens county, he was the son of the late J.D. and Josephine Adams Rice.  Survivors include his wife, Barbara Rice of the home; three sons, Elliot, Darren (Toya) Brown and Tony Link; one daughter, Denise Brown; three sisters, Martha Ann Heard, Earnestine (Rev. Isaiah) Scipio, and Joanna Lynn (Richard) Tilley; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; four nephews and two nieces.   The family has selected The Luther Johnson Funeral Home.
