Kathy Ann Jones Lomax was born in Liberty, SC on July 10, 1951 to the late Ace & Ella Jones. She was a lifelong member of Robinson Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was also preceded in death by two grandsons: Terrence and Tony Lomax; a very special, loving friend for over 20 years, Jerome Hagood who were all waiting for her at Heaven’s gate; a brother, Johnny Jones; and a sister, Gwen Johnson.
Kathy was born with Cerebral Palsy and only weighed 1 pound. Doctors didn’t think she would make it. They said if she made it she would never walk. She was a strong woman. She fought from the day she was born until the day she left this earth.
She leaves to mourn her passing: two daughters, Tiffany Williams (Justin Cheeks) and Tina Lomax; four grandchildren, Neil and Shemere Lomax, Deja Dawkins and Serenity Jones; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Creech and Denise Jones; six nieces and nephews, Kamie, Keesha, Kenya, Krystal Jones, Scott Jones and Todd Johnson and a host of other family and friends. Kathy was well loved and respected and will truly be missed.
