Nancy Lee Sitton

Nancy Lee Sitton, 73, entered God's rest on September 13, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio. Nancy is survived by her loving sons Marvin, Dirkson, and Che Sitton, of Columbus, Ohio. She was Nana to six beloved grandchildren, Antoinette, Che, Simeon, Seth, Alannis, and Shania. She also leaves behind her five great grandchildren. Her dear grandbaby, Leandra, preceded her in death. Also surviving are her brother, Clark (Margaret) Scott, sisters Lyla Hartgrove, and Carolyn (David) Tucker. Her nieces and nephews will also miss her dearly. Mourning the loss too are Calvin Sitton, and her sisters-in-law Carletta Grant and Sandra Sitton and many friends and good neighbors. Nancy retired from the Department of Defense, Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS). She enjoyed the company of many co-workers at DFAS and the representatives from Raytheon. Family was everything to Nancy. In so many ways she showed her love for them. Her weekend breakfast buffet was a treat her family looked forward to having, and if you dropped by, there would always be a place for you at her kitchen table. Nancy's kindness and great sense of humor were endearing to all who truly knew her and strangers that she met. She loved to work in her flower garden, crochet, draw and paint on canvas, and bargain shop. Our hearts are broken but we find comfort in our many happy memories of our so loved, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend. Death leaves a heartache so hard to heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal. Sleep peacefully in God's rest dear Nancy.
