Ronald Leon Scruggs, 74 of Easley, SC passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at Linley Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Anderson from an extended illness.
Born in Pickens county, SC, he was the son of the late Sheldon Leon Scruggs and Ada Helen Scruggs. He was the husband of Rebecca Scruggs. He was a vietnam veteran and received the purple heart. He was a roofer and also attended Faith Baptist Church in Norris.
Survivors include his wife Rebecca, a son, Freddy Scruggs of Easley; three daughters, Rhonda Turner (Tony) of Pickens, April Hines(Scott) of Greer, Rebecca Robinson(Aaron) of Piedmont; two stepsons , David Richardson of Greenville and Allan Richardson of Easley; one sister, Nancy Stephens of Pickens; 13 grandkids; 10 great grandkids; 5 step grandkids and 5 step great grandkids.
He was predeceased by one brother, Bobby Scruggs and sisters; Carolyn Holcombe and Ann Scruggs, He was also predeceased by a great grandson, Oliver Turner. Services will be planned at a later date.
