On Saturday evening, April 26, 2025, just as the sun was beginning to retreat in the west, the Lord walked around his garden, and saw an empty spacel He then descended from the heavens and came upon a faithful face. He put his arms around Thomas Eugene Brock, of 101 Metal Mansion Rd., Pendleton and lifted him to rest, God's garden must be beautiful, because he always picks his best.
Thomas “Tom” Eugene Brock, known as “Pop Tom” to his Grandchildren, of Pendleton, SC, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, at the age of 82.
Tom was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He was known for his kindness, and strong work ethic. He was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church (Formerly Second Baptist of Pendleton).
Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Brock; his brothers, Edward Harper Brock and Charles Calvin Brock Sr.; his parents, Grady Calvin Brock and Edna Brock.
He is survived by his sons, Tommy Brock (Dana), and Patrick Brock; his grandchildren, Drew Brock (Morgan), Kassie McGee, Dawson Brock (Georgia), Jessie McGee (Claire), Grady Brock, Seth Brock, Andy Brock, Zachary Brock, and Abree Brock; and his great-grandchildren, Kylin Campbell, Willow Gravley, and Bodhi Brock. He is also survived by his sisters, Evelyn Virginia Medlin (John), Barbara Entrekin (Lamar), and Alma B. Rollins (Marion).
Tom's love and legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
The Family will receive friends on April 30, 2025, at Faith Fellowship Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Faith Fellowship Baptist Church and Pendleton Fire Department in his memory.
